Overview

The 15th Asia-Oceania Meteorological Satellite Users’ Conference (AOMSUC-15) will be held in conjunction with 2025 FENGYUN Satellite User Conference (2025 FYSUC) in October 2025 in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China.

In order to promote dialogue and strengthen collaboration between space agencies and the user community, interested practitioners are invited to register and submit abstract papers.

There are no registration fees associated with this conference, and experts are expected to bear the cost of attending. If the costs cannot be met, the CMA are prepared to consider providing financial support to a limited number of participants from developing countries, particularly those selected to speak at the forum, which may include travel and accommodation costs. Please inform the Local Organizing Committee (fysat701@126.com) whether you are able to attend the conference and if so, whether any financial assistance is required.

VENUE

The meeting will be held in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China. The conference will be hosted at Qingdao International Convention Center(No. 1 Aofan Road, Shinan District) as the main venue. The Joint RAII-RAV Coordination Meeting will be conducted at InterContinental Qingdao(No. 98 Ao'er Road, Shinan District).

How to Get to the Venue from Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport

Option 1: Metro

Take Metro Line 8 (toward Qingdao North Railway Station) → Transfer to Line 3 at Qingdao North Station → Get off at May 4th Square Station (五四广场站) → Walk or take a short taxi ride to the venue (Qingdao International Convention Center).

Metro Hours: Line 8 operates until ~10:30 PM.

Duration: ~1.5 hours | Cost: ¥7-10 RMB

Option 2: Airport Shuttle Bus

Take the Airport Shuttle Bus (Line 702) → Get off at Haier Road (海尔路站) → Transfer to a taxi (about 15 mins to the venue).

Duration: ~1.5-2 hours | Cost: ¥25-40 RMB

Option 3: Taxi (Most Convenient)

Direct ride to Qingdao International Convention Center (about 50-60 km).

Duration: ~50-70 mins (depending on traffic) | Cost: ¥150-200 RMB

Peak Hours: Avoid 7:30-9:30 AM & 5:00-7:00 PM (heavy traffic).
