To integrate the needed resources, optimize the current structures of space weather forecast, and to enhance the capabilities of space weather forecast serving the national economy, National Observatory for Space Weather (NOSW) was, with the approval of China Meteorological Administration (CMA), created on November 27, 2015 at the facilities of the National Space Weather Monitoring and Warning Center

At 02:37am from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, November 5, 2010, the carrier rocket CZ-4C lifted off to send FY-3B satellite into predetermined orbit. The launching process is completely successful.

The first Asia/Oceania Meteorological Satellite Users' Conference will take place on November 1-2, 2010, Beijing, China. It is sponsored by The China Meteorology Ad- ministration and cosponsored by the World Meteorological Organization, the inter- governmental Group on Earth Observations, Japan Meteorological Agency and Korea Meteorological Administration. Developed by the National Satellite Meteorological Center, the system "A Big World on a Small Globe"is created to restore lively panorama view of the earth with the near-real-time observational images of geostationary meteorological satellites.

The Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao made an inspection in the China Meteo- rological Administration ECMAF on December 11, 2009. Accompanied by Dr. Zheng Guoguang of the CMA administrator, the Premier began his tour in CMA at the National Satellite Meteorological Center ENSMCF where he was welcomed by the NSMC director-general Yang Jun.
